My Process

1.) Initial Idea

 

First email me at triskfilms@gmail.com with your idea. Be as descriptive as possible about what you already have done (actors, location figured out?) and what you need me to do. 

 

2.) Pre-Production

 

Then we meet up and discuss the film! We talk about your idea in detail  decide on as many important factors as we can - everything from budget, to location, actors, props, script, story and character, to what goes into the final edit. So be prepared! 

 

Next, I take my notes home and formulate a script. Usually 1-3 revisions will be made before we decide a final script. 

 

3.) Production

 

Finally, based off the final script and your budget, I gather any actors, locations, or props we need and we shoot on the scheduled date(s) and time(s)! 

 

4.) Post-Production

 

Finally, I take the footage home and edit it. Usually 1-3 revisions will be made before we decide on a final edit. Once the final edit is cut - we are all done! 

 

Tah-Dah! Movie Magic.

Price will vary. Time + Effort = Price. 

 

For the quickest quote, it helps for me to know a LOT of information about the project! So below are some questions to get you started on your first email to me. Don't worry - it's okay if you don't know all the answers right now! 

 

Helpful Questions for your First Email to Me:

 

  1. What is your idea? How many minutes? 

  2. What resources do you already have available? Location? Actors? 

  3. Who is already or will be working on the project with you? Crew? Editor?

  4. What role(s) do you want me to play? Direct, write, film, edit, or make any graphics?

  5. What budget do you have in mind for the film? 

  6. What day(s) are you planning on shooting the film? 

  7. What is your budget for paying me? 

  8. Finally, feel free to ask any questions!
